EDWARDSVILLE — The Edwardsville CEO Program will be hosting a new event to kick-start the Christmas season for the whole family, “Jump Start to Joy,” on Saturday, November 25th from 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm at the Edwardsville YMCA Mayer Center (address 7348). “It will be held. Goshen Street.
Jumpstart to Joy will feature a variety of events for kids, including bounce houses, rolling skates, face painting, and meet-and-greets with Santa and princesses. Arts and crafts will also be part of the festival.
Tickets are $10 per person in advance and $15 at the door, with children 2 and under admitted free.
A vendor fair will be held for Christmas shopping for adults. There will also be a raffle where you can win baskets provided by local businesses.
British Princess Party will provide the princesses, Glitter Face Painter will provide the face painting and Jammin’ Jumpers will provide the bounce house.

November December 25 30 Tree Glen Festival: The Glen Carbon Heritage Museum will be decorated with holiday lights, the holiday tree will be lit at special times, and visitors will be able to vote for their favorite tree. Prizes will be awarded. Admission to the museum is free, but donations are accepted. Hours of operation will be Saturdays from 5 to 8 p.m., beginning Nov. 25. Veterinary sweats: The Troy Senior Center is collecting sweatshirts for veterans during the month of November. You can donate new sweatshirts and sweatpants in any color or size, but we’ll probably focus on larger sizes like L, XL, and 2X.
