Let’s be grateful to Walmart this season too.
The holiday season is just around the corner, but with inflation rates still on the rise, this joyous time may be a little stressful for your wallet. Thanksgiving is a time to gather around the table with your loved ones and enjoy a delicious meal, but these days that meal can get expensive. Fortunately, major retail chains are lowering prices on traditional Thanksgiving meal menus.
Walmart reports that 92% of its customers are currently stressed about how inflation and rising grocery prices will affect their holiday shopping, and the company wants to do something about it. It is said that there is Walmart customers saved more than $1 billion last year with Season Baskets and Rollbacks, and they will save even more this season.
Walmart’s 2023 Thanksgiving Food Sale
Last year, Walmart offered 2021 Thanksgiving Meal Prices, slashing prices on Thanksgiving staples that were under $10 each, from stovetop stuffing mix to Marie Callender’s pumpkin pie. This year, the retailer is eliminating inflation again, but offering even deeper discounts on two Thanksgiving meal options.
Starting Nov. 1, customers can choose a meal basket with ingredients to make their own Thanksgiving dinner or get ready-to-bake items instead.
Walmart hasn’t released the full list of discount options yet, but we do know they include discounts on ham, stuffing, and pumpkin pie. Thanksgiving turkeys can also be found for less than $1 per pound.
To make things super easy, you can buy all your groceries online or on the Walmart app and have them delivered to your door within an hour or pick them up at your convenience.
Additional bonus? These deals aren’t only available during the Thanksgiving rush. Save the entire holiday season with these discounts now through December 26, 2023. Now that’s something we can all rejoice about.
