FENTON, Mich. (WJRT) – Walmart is showing off major changes to its Fenton store after months of renovations.
Walmart, located at 3700 Owen Road, held a ribbon cutting on Friday to commemorate the reopening of the store, which remained open during renovations. The store also honored its longtime employees who have worked there since it opened in 2002.
Walmart continued its reopening celebrations throughout the day Friday with samples from popular brands such as Coca-Cola, Pepsi, Frito-Lay, Ant Millie’s, Hershey, Little Debbie, Monster and Kellogg’s.
The store presented grants worth $4,000 to the Fenton Pride Collective, Snuggle Saxophone and the Lake Fenton High School Music Department Friday morning.
