Walmart will be closed on Thanksgiving Day (Thursday, November 23rd), but the nation’s largest retailer will be open on Black Friday.
And we expect it to be busy.
Last year, Black Friday 2022 had 196.7 million shoppers in the U.S., and sales over the three-day post-Thanksgiving weekend exceeded $188.2 billion.
Walmart will open at 6 a.m. on Black Friday (November 24) and stay open until 11 p.m. The Black Friday sale will be available in stores from the same day, two days after it was first posted online. Sensory-friendly hours will be in place from 8 a.m. to 10 a.m. daily, with dimmed lighting and no in-store music or still images on in-store TVs.
After Black Friday, Walmart’s next big sale day will be Cyber Monday, November 27th.
For the first time, Walmart+ members will get 3-hour early access to Cyber Monday sales. Through November 8th, memberships are available for $49, half off the regular price. Members receive free delivery and shipping, fuel savings, and a Paramount+ subscription.
