Boone, North Carolina – The Old Dominion volleyball team posted a combined batting average of over .400 in the first three sets as the Monarchs defeated App State 3-1 on the road Friday night at the Holmes Convocation Center.
With the win, ODU split the conference series and improved to 11-15 overall and 3-9 in the Sun Belt with two weeks left in the regular season.

ODU held on for a 25-22 final, but a late charge by App State wasn’t enough.
Conway was two digs away from a double-double, finishing with 22 kills, eight digs and three blocks. McGee had 17 kills and 10 digs, his third career double-double.
