In a recent interview with Gilley and Wallo, Tyrese reflected on the plans she made to further support her family, even if it meant sacrificing honesty. Additionally, the singer and actor revealed that when he was eight years old, Murray made him fake a learning disability so he could receive just under $800 from Social Security as a contribution to the hard work she was already doing for those she loved. While many took issue with his use of the “R” word, a story is a story.
Tyrese laughed as he recalled the choice, calling it his “first acting job” and agreeing with Wallo that Priscilla Murray Gibson was his “first directorial job.” Fans are wondering if this confession will lead to retroactive action, but that's unlikely. He knows this grief will continue to affect him in the bigger picture, just like it would any other human being. Speaking of which, Tyrese recently launched another accusation against Samantha Lee. “I got another letter from her lawyer,” he said on Instagram Live. “She's asking for $20,000, but I think they're trying to raise it to like $40, so they're demanding that I send them all my tax returns and bank statements. They're going through every movie and concert and show I've been in and they're rubbing their hands together like a blood-sucking lawyer. And Samantha's doing the same thing.”
“They're rubbing their hands together saying, 'Oh, shit, he seems to be doing really well these last year and a half. Now, let's get my bank statements over here and figure out how to get another $600,000 in legal fees that this law firm is asking for,'” Tyrese continued. “It's a dirty, dirty game out here. Come on, guys can't wait. Everybody pray for me. I've heard my divorce case is on appeal in the Court of Appeals. The outcome of the appeal is due on August 25th.”
