(WHTM) — Two of Pennsylvania’s many amusement parks rank as some of the best in the country for holiday events, according to USA Today’s 10Best Readers’ Choice.
Hersheypark and Kennywood ranked fourth and ninth on the list, respectively. All of these parks were chosen by our readers during the voting period.
According to the list, Hersheypark’s Christmas Candy Lane came in at No. 4 because it features more than 5 million lights and you can see Santa and all nine of his reindeer. Additionally, weather permitting, guests can ride select coasters, thrill rides, family rides, and watch a holiday light show set to classic holiday songs every half hour as the sun sets. You can also.
Holiday Lights at Kennywood ranks No. 9 on the 2023 list and is known for its 2 million lights, local choirs performing holiday songs, and up to 20 attraction rides. Guests can also enjoy readings of “The Night Before Christmas” by local celebrities on select dates and view a giant model train display.
