Marin Stargazers, founded by Dan Smiley of Mill Valley, will host a free star party on Monday.
• Marin Stargazers, founded by Mill Valley resident Dan Smiley, will host a free “Star Party” on Monday. Telescopes will be available to capture amazing views of the surfaces of Saturn, Jupiter, and the Moon. This free public event will be held Monday from 4:45 to 7 p.m. at Piper Park, 250 Dougherty Drive in Larkspur. In case of rain or fog, the event will be canceled.
