PARADES Greensboro Veterans Day Parade – The Greensboro Veterans Day Parade will be held on Saturday, November 11th. It begins at noon at the corner of Lindsay and Elm Streets. High Point Veterans Day Parade – The High Point Veterans Day Parade will be held on Sunday, November 12th. Starts at 3pm. The parade route begins on Main Street, continues to Russell Avenue and ends at Kevan Avenue. The lineup includes veterans, color guard, marching bands, cars, motorcycles, military vehicles, ROTC units and more. Lunch, Dinner, and Coffee Events Davidson County Senior Services Annual Veterans Luncheon – In partnership with Novant Health, Davidson County Senior Services will host its annual Veterans Luncheon on Tuesday, November 7th from noon to 2 p.m. will be held at Davidson. in the Mary E. Littling Conference Room at Davie Community College, 297 Community College Road, Thomasville. Her Davidson County veterans and their spouses over the age of 55 are cordially invited to attend the reception free of charge. Veterans Coffee at Richard Childress Racing – A Veterans Coffee event will be held at Richard Childress Racing on Wednesday, November 8th. The event will begin at 9 o’clock. am held at his RCR headquarters located at 425 Industrial Avenue in Welcome, North Carolina. During the coffee event, there will also be recognition of Gold His Star’s families and prisoners of war. Women Veterans Coffee & Conversation – Women Veterans Coffee & Conversation will be held on Monday, November 13th from 9 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. Hosted by Veterans Bridge Home and sponsored by Humana, it will be held at 1045 Humana Neighborhood Center. Haines Mall Boulevard in Winston-Salem. Veteran’s Coffee Event – This coffee begins on his Wednesday, November 16th at 8:30am. It will be held at the Golden Corral, 4404 Landview Drive in Greensboro. This event is hosted by Veterans Bridge Home. Greensboro Dinner – The Elks Lodge in Greensboro will host a dinner for veterans on Friday, November 10th. Starting at 5 p.m., veterans eat free and guests pay $15 per person. General parking is available in a paved lot off Orman Road. Those who require disabled access can drive to the monument entrance.

Gold Star families and POWs will also be recognized during the coffee event.
