Important Town Hall Information Sessions A conference on homelessness and other social issues in Cranbrook will be held next week, hosted by the Mayor's Task Force on Homelessness, Community Safety and Wellbeing, and is open to the public.
The session is scheduled to be held on Wednesday, June 26th from 10am to 12pm in the Dwelling Place chapel, 2324 2nd Street South.
The space can accommodate up to 400 people. No prior booking is required. The aim of the session is to bring the community together to discuss some of the tough issues facing Cranbrook and come together to find solutions.
The Mayor's Task Force has created a “Rules of Participation” document that all citizens attending Town Hall are asked to follow during the meeting. Attendees who wish to speak must provide their name and address, and if they present an issue, they are asked to also provide a solution.
The purpose of these rules is to ensure that the session is most effective in addressing issues and making decisions, and that everyone present has a chance to speak and express their opinions.
Participants will be provided with copies of the “Rules of Participation” and “Frequently Asked Questions” upon arrival at the session. We strongly encourage you to review these documents before the session begins.
