Friday
Toledo Walleye season opener
You’ve been waiting all summer for them to come back, and Friday, Walleye are back in action. Enjoy the new season at home. Friday’s game against the Reading Royals not only kicks off his impressive ECHL hockey season in Toledo, but also gives Glass City fans their first look at new head coach Pat Mikesh. To kick off the new season, the Walleyes will host a party at Hensville Park on Friday from 4 to 6 p.m. The event will feature live music from Skittles Bots, appearances by Coach Mikesh and Wally alumni, a spike tunnel, an inflatable hockey rink, cornhole games, and food and beverages from Fleetwood’s taproom. The party is free and open to the public.
Toledo Symphony Orchestra 80th Anniversary Celebration
The symphony celebrates its 80th birthday with a concert featuring variations from its first concert, including works by Mozart, Ravel, and Brahms. Nicholas McCarthy, a British pianist who was born without a right hand, performs Ravel’s “Piano Concert for the Left Hand.”

Findlay Fall Art Walk
Popular in Findlay art walk The fall event, where art lovers can check out the work of artists from all over Downtown, will take place this weekend.
Artists will display their work throughout downtown, at local shops, restaurants, and other businesses. Check out exhibits at the Findlay Art League, Marathon Center for the Performing Arts, and Jones Building Artist Studio.
The free event will be held in downtown Findlay on Friday from 5 to 9 p.m.
Saturday
Perrysburg Mammoth Cheese Wheel Cutting
Remember when traditional Toledo department store Tiedtke’s brought a giant wheel of cheese to town every holiday season? Even if it was your first time, Walt Churchill’s Market is a beloved Continuing the Toledo holiday cheese tradition.
This year’s holiday cheese cuts Introducing 2,000 pounds of holiday cheddar cheese made by Henning’s Cheese Co. of Kiel, Wisconsin. The cheese team at Churchill’s Market, 26625 North Dixie Highway in Perrysburg, will hold a ceremonial slice Saturday at 2 p.m. The cheese sliced that day will be sold alongside a further 3,500 pounds of special Christmas cheddar.
For every pound of holiday cheddar cheese sold this season, Churchill’s will donate $1 to Toys for Tots.
The Cheese Slice Celebration will also feature dancers from Toledo Ballet’s production of “The Nutcracker” and the Perrysburg High School Choir.
Toledo Comic Art Festival
Sponsored by the Toledo Lucas County Public Library, the festival lets you explore the art of comics, hear from cartoonists, create and decorate superhero masks, try your hand at hero training, and more. Masu. The event aims to promote diversity in comics from a wide range of creators, encourage comic reading, and celebrate visual literacy.
Event It will be held Saturday from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the Main Library, 325 Michigan Street in downtown Toledo.
Sunday
BGSU Stadium Sound
Haven’t had enough of the great grooves of the Marching Band on Saturday afternoons this football season? The Bowling Green State University Marching Band will be holding a special concert on Sunday.
Sounds of the Stadium will feature all the music from this year’s football halftime show, plus more of your favorite songs.
The concert will be held Sunday at 3 p.m. at the Straw Center, 1535 East Wooster Street, Bowling Green.
Students who bring their BGSU ID can watch this show for free. Tickets are $10 for everyone else. Regarding tickets, Check here.
