Acapulco Candle Vigil
The public is invited to visit Lynwood City Hall. Thursday, November 16th 6 p.m. to show support for the people of Acapulco, a large family in the Mexican state of Guerrero, which is in the same state as Linwood’s sister city Chilpancingo.

Sno-Isle Tech Skill Center hosts Apprentice Career + Job Fair
The events scheduled to be held are Thursday, November 16th from 4 to 7 p.m. at the Sno-Isle Tech Skills Center (9001 Airport Rd, Everett, WA 98204) and featuring more than 30 apprenticeship programs from King, Pierce, Snohomish, Whatcom and Skagit counties. An impressive lineup will be featured.
Attendees look forward to interacting with representatives from these programs and gaining insight into training opportunities through hands-on activities and informative sessions. We will provide free BBQ to all participants!
Apprenticeship programs at the trade fair cover a wide range of industries, ensuring there is something for everyone. The event will provide a comprehensive overview of the diverse career paths available through local apprenticeship programs, from construction and advanced manufacturing to aerospace, transportation, healthcare, culinary, carpentry, IT, maritime and more. Rainbow City Performing Arts celebrates 25th anniversary with colorful concerts
Rainbow City Performing Arts is a nonprofit organization that promotes equity and visibility for LGBTQIA+ people through music. Friday, November 17, 2023 7:30 p.m. at Benaroya Hall, 200 University Street, Seattle.
This concert features the Rainbow City Concert Band and Orchestra, two of Rainbow City’s many ensembles, performing music inspired by the color spectrum that emphasizes the diversity of music and performers. Beverly Elementary School Holiday Market
The public is invited to the Holiday Market (formerly the Holiday Bazaar) at Beverly Elementary School, 5221 168th St SW in Lynwood. November 18th This is a family-friendly event from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m.
New this year is the Children’s Makers Market, where Beverly’s elementary school entrepreneurs will set up their own booths and sell handmade items. Some students plan to donate a portion of their proceeds to charities such as local animal shelters.
In addition to the kids market, the holiday market will include a variety of items made by local crafts and makers, including resin art, home art, decorations, jewelry, crochet, handmade cards, and more.
