North Logan Pumpkin Walk
- This weekend, Logan will feature hundreds of spooky, glowing pumpkins, as well as displays and scenes made from pumpkins, gourds and other vegetables. Once you’ve checked out all the pumpkin art, take a photo in the photo area and receive a free treat from a local business. Don’t miss this annual tradition that has been going on for decades!

Leighton Halloween Bash
- Layton City will host a memorable event with games, prizes, a haunted house, a dark museum, short films, concessions and more. The event is free to everyone and will be held Friday at the Layton Amphitheater Plaza from 6 to 8:30 p.m.

City Creek at Folsom Trail Celebration
- The event celebrates the unveiling of the Chitty Creek mural on Salt Lake City’s Folsom Trail and features free food, music, garden fun and more. Attendees can learn about local ideals while enjoying the new murals and community spaces that have transformed the area.
Utah firefighters’ chili cooking showdown
- More than 20 first responder teams will gather at the America First Field Pavilion in Sandy to compete for the title of Best Chile. While the contest is a lot of fun, the main purpose of this event is to raise funds for the University of Utah Health Burn Camp program. Admission is free and there will be a variety of activities, including helicopter takeoff and landing from the University of Utah. You must purchase a ticket to enjoy delicious chili and drinks at the event. It will be held on Saturday from 11am to 3pm!
Alternative Press Fest
- Celebrate Utah’s DIY publishing community at this festival held Saturday at the Main Library in Salt Lake City. There will be a variety of workshops, panels and activities, as well as zines, stickers and prints for sale. It’s open from noon to 5 p.m. and everyone can join for free!
pumpkin smash and autumn festival
- Pumpkin-cracking is the highlight of the event, but there will also be trick-or-treating, a DJ, a petting zoo, games and more.It will be held at Trolley Plaza on Saturday from noon to 3 p.m.
Trick or Treat at the Plaza
- In Taylorsville, the event was held earlier this year on Saturdays at Centennial Plaza for trick-or-treating. Visit the stations with your jack-o-lantern and trick-or-treat for candy, prizes, toys, and swag. There are also games and other entertainment for the whole family! This event is part of a food drive, so please join in the goodwill by bringing canned food.Held from 4pm to 6pm
The Leonardo Flightmare on the 5th
- A Halloween-themed tasting event will be held at The Leonardo on Saturday from 7 to 10 p.m. Attendees will have the opportunity to sample cuisine from all over the Salt Lake Valley and beyond. Let’s dress up and get into the festive mood! It’s a free event, but he recommends a $20 donation at the door. Donations benefit Leonardo!
CopperBOO Halloween Carnival
- Copperview Recreation Center is hosting a festive Halloween Carnival in Midvale. There will be games, face painting, a costume contest and a chance to win Thanksgiving dinner. This fun event will be held on Friday from 5pm to 8pm and is free to all.

- Enjoy Utah’s outdoors and movies at this festival starting Saturday at 6 p.m. In addition to short films, there will also be live music, making it fun for the whole family. Proceeds from the event will benefit Wasatch Mountain Arts. I need a ticket!

Park City Sunrise Shot Ski
- This is a Utah tradition! Hundreds of people line up in Park City to pour glasses on their skis to raise money for the Park City Sunrise Rotary Club’s grant program. This year’s goal is to accept 1,360 participants and raise $50,000 for a good cause. Head out and enjoy Park City’s historic Main Street on Saturday at 2 p.m.

Orem City Truck-or-Treat
- Kids can dress up in costumes and pick up Orem City treats, or visit individual vehicles to buy treats. There will be city vehicles that children can enjoy, such as garbage trucks, construction vehicles, police and fire trucks. Quiet time for children with sensory needs will be from 10:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m., while the entire event will last until 2 p.m. at University Place Mall.
boogie night
- Put the boo in the boogie! Dance till you drop, enjoy card readings, palm reading, photo ops, face painting, henna, and more at this adults-only party at Thanksgiving Point. Costumes are encouraged and tickets are required.Spooky fun takes place Saturday from 8 to 11 p.m.

- Get in the festive spirit by shopping from local vendors at the Creators Collective Spooky Market in Lyndon on Saturday. Trick-or-treating, photography, music, food trucks, treats, permanent jewelry, earrings, various home items, art, and more. Admission is free and there will be door prizes for the first 50 people.

- Enjoy a delicious breakfast with the whole family and meet a witchy visitor at Thanksgiving Point! Dress up in costume, get into the holiday spirit and you could win prizes! Tickets required.

neon night run
- Boost your fitness over the weekend while soaking up the Halloween and spooky vibes with Friday’s Hurricane Fun Run. Registration is required and participants can participate in either the 5K race or the 1 mile race.
Horrorfest International
- Horror fans, this is for you. A spine-chilling, blood-curdling film is coming to southern Utah this weekend as part of his four-day festival highlighting independent horror films from around the world. I need a ticket. Get ready to scream your heart out!
Hurricane City Fall Fest
- Hurricane City celebrates the season with music, vendors, bounce houses, trunk and treats, movies in the park, and more. Don’t miss the festive fun at the Rec Center on Saturday from 4pm to 10pm.

Utah Ghost Tour
- Learn about the ghosts and people who gave Salt Lake City and Ogden their haunted history as you sneak a peek at the gravestones. Keep your eyes peeled for cemetery walks, bus/van tours, and other haunted fun this weekend. Events will be held in SLC and Ogden – tickets required.
train of fear
- A portion of the tracks at Canyon Meadows Park in South Weber will be decorated for the spooky season, and kids can pick up trick-or-treat bags Saturday from 1 to 5 p.m. Train rides are free, but donations are appreciated. Bring a picnic lunch and enjoy the park and beautiful weather after your train ride.
Dia de los Muertos en Ogden
- Ben Lomond High School transforms into a festive world during the Dia de los Muertos event on Friday and Saturday. There will be live performances, art shows, markets, food trucks, altars, and more. I need a ticket!
