Like many people, the first thing I look forward to in the morning is drinking my body weight in coffee and feeling the caffeine flood my soul like an air mattress with a pump. I'm not a coffee connoisseur, and I don't really care about the type of bean or the roast level, but I am a bit picky when it comes to home decor, which can make it hard to find high-tech gadgets and appliances. I hate anything with too many cords and buttons, so I don't want them in my living space.
So you can imagine my delight when I saw that actor Drew Barrymore launched a line of kitchen gadgets at Walmart last year. With touchscreens and chic silhouettes, all of the products are as beautiful as the brand name suggests. But what caught my eye above all else was the 14-cup programmable coffee maker, which comes in six elegant colors, each with a large pot with a beautiful gold handle.
Since the day I got it, I've gotten compliments on this coffee maker from everyone who has come into my kitchen, friends have asked me where I bought it and told me it's the best looking coffee pot they've ever seen, as well as what an attractive color it is that will really blend into any kitchen space.
This little guy grabs attention and wows people more than any other kitchen appliance I own. (I also have a Baby Yoda-shaped mini frying pan, so this coffee pot is a tough contender.) The rectangular shape and rounded edges are aesthetically pleasing, and at about a foot tall, it can fit into any little nook or under a cabinet for a cute at-home café moment.
As well as adding a little oomph to your coffee corner, this pot also comes with a replaceable charcoal water filter to ensure the best tasting coffee, a four-hour “keep warm” mode, a pause feature that allows you to pour into your cup before the entire pot is brewed, and an adjustable auto power-off feature in case you forget to switch it off before leaving home.
You can program the pot up to 24 hours before you want to brew, and use a special setting to brew smaller amounts of coffee (1-4 cups).
This may not be the coffee pot for the avid coffee lover; the features are very basic and you can't change the water temperature or adjust any other granular settings. But it's a great choice for anyone who wants to make their kitchen look like an HGTV filming set without spending hundreds of dollars. Whether you're a daily coffee drinker or just love to share a cuppa, you'll be pleased to pour yourself a cup of coffee from this eye-catching machine.

“As a mom, I love and need my morning coffee. But my coffee maker was a big, blocky, black eyesore in my bright and airy kitchen. When I saw this green and gold coffee maker, I fell in love instantly. It's a great fit in my kitchen. It's easy to program and I love that I can pour from the left or right side without spilling it on my countertop. I also love that it has a carbon filter. Maybe it's just my imagination, but I think my coffee tastes better. Not only is it beautiful to look at, it's easy to program and makes a great brew.” — Melissa.
