š¦ You can always watch the Detroit Thanksgiving Parade on TV or live stream, but if you want to get in on the action, here’s more information about the festivities and marchers. Starting at 8:45 a.m., watch the revelry from the sidewalk as it marches down Woodward Avenue from Kirby to Congress Street. Or you can dine at the breakfast buffet at The Majestic along the parade route. Participation in the parade is free. The buffet is $40 for adults and $18 for children.
š It may be too late to ride the float, but you can still run in the āparade before the parade.ā Don your costume and tackle the 10K Turkey Trot, 5K Stuffing Strut, or Mashed Potato Mile starting downtown. Registration Wednesday at Huntington Place, $30-$65 (cash or check only).
