Walmart had to close Monday night after a fire broke out inside the store.
Beavercreek police and fire departments responded to a report of a commercial fire at 5:45 p.m., Molnar said.
The store is located near Fairfield Commons Mall at 3360 Pentagon Blvd.
Molnar said a 911 caller reported a fire in the crafts section of the store.
Customers were quickly evacuated and no one was injured, Molnar continued.
After employees evacuated, they sealed off the entrance with caution tape.
The store’s automatic sprinkler system extinguished the fire, which the Beaver Creek Fire Department was able to extinguish upon arrival.
