On the second Wednesday of every month, join new and old Look Clubbers for a glass of wine and an open-minded conversation about the carefully selected works of art on display in the Richard Mayhew: Inner Terrain exhibition. Sho. In December, it will be held on December 6th from 6:00 pm to 7:30 pm. Tickets are $10, free for SVMA members.
sonoma art walk
On the first Thursday of every month from 5-7:30 p.m., the SVMA hosts a free art walk. On Dec. 7, the Valley Quartet will perform music from classical, folk and modern genres, as well as holiday favorites. Quartet members include violinists Kyle Craft and Caleb Forchen, viola Melinda Ellis, and cellist Tess Van Wagner.
lean towards the light
Each year, the SVMA hosts a poetry pairing that combines poetry, art, food, and wine. This year we are featuring “Leaning towards the Light: Poems for gardens and the hands that tend them.” This event will feature four of the book’s poets. Editors Tess Taylor, Forrest Gander, Katie Peterson, Jeanine Lenteen, and Bryn Saito. Sonoma chef Kyle Kukulski will be offering wine pairings from Koplan Vineyards, Dysfunctional Family Winery and Sonokaia Estate Vineyards. Great place, great space: home for the holidays
Celebrate the holiday season with SVMA’s Home for the Holidays party. Hosted by Vicki Soulier at her home, the community is invited to enjoy wine, cocktails and appetizers. Enjoy the eclectic art, sculptures, and Soulier home decorated for the holidays. On December 16th from 5pm to 7pm, tickets cost $225 and admission is limited to 25 people.
