Rick Lars Performing Arts Center, featured speeches from key University leaders, including President Charles Patterson, Dean and Vice President for Academic Affairs Darrell Newton, Student Government Association (SGA) President Lillian Sellers, Board of Trustees Representative Collin Arnold and Psychology Professor Sue Morin, Ph.D.
Afterwards, students enjoyed a college-wide Big Red BBQ, packed with delicious food, games and activities. The day concluded with a bright and lively Glow Party, filled with lots of bubbles and neon lights.
On August 24th, students participated in Breakfast Bingo in Reisner Hall, followed by a block party with games and arts and crafts competitions. Fall Welcome Week concluded with a Multicultural Student Affairs social on August 25th at CUB.
