MinotND (October 2, 2023)– Sanford Health is hosting multiple flu vaccination events in Minot, North Dakota.
Vaccines will be provided inside the Sanford Health Hwy 2 Clinic (phone number 801-21).cent Ave. SE, every Thursday in October from 5 to 8 p.m.
Seasonal vaccines are for adults and children over 6 months of age.
- Adults should wear shirts with sleeves that are easy to roll up.
- Please bring your insurance card. Most insurances are accepted.
Reservations are recommended but not required. To schedule your flu vaccination appointment at these special events, visit mysanfordchart.org or call 701-456-6001.
Fall is the best time to get a flu shot. The vaccine provides protection throughout the flu season and is the best way to protect yourself and your community from the flu.
Who should get the flu shot?
To reduce the risk of getting the flu and passing it on to others, everyone 6 months of age and older should get the flu vaccine every year. Certain groups are at higher risk and are strongly recommended to be vaccinated, including:
- Pregnant women and those who became pregnant during the influenza season.
- People over 50 years old.
- Adults and children with certain chronic conditions.
