There’s a lot of family-friendly events going on this weekend, and to help break the ice, we welcome Dani Howe from WLLR.
MOLINE, IL — The weekend is officially here, and WQAD and WLLR have some notable events to watch from October 13th to 15th.
“Boobies” at the Putnam Museum of Art
Held this Friday, October 13th, the event allows families and Halloween movie lovers to watch their favorites on the big screen at Putnam’s Giant Screen Theater.
A short list of movies on the museum’s schedule includes “Hocus Pocus,” “Ghostbusters” and “Friday the 13th.”
Admission to the Putnam is $10 for general admission and $9 for children and seniors.
Kinna’s House of Love Court Drive

Thursday country concert
East Moline’s Rust Belt will host two free concert events this Thursday to recognize and support veterans and first responders in the area.
The first concert will be performed by Austin Wahlert and Liza Jo at 1 p.m., both of whom will perform country music for a more discerning audience. Then, at 7 p.m., Wahlert and Joe will take the stage again and the public will be invited to join.
Rust Belt encourages people to book tickets for these concerts and will not turn anyone away.
