The City of Lewiston will host a public education and awareness event regarding stormwater drainage system projects this fall. There, you will have the opportunity to ask questions and learn more about upcoming service rates, capital improvement projects, and more.
Who is there?
Because this utility impacts processes across multiple departments, a variety of staff will be present and available to answer any questions. Say “hello” to the Department of Public Works, Utility Billing Division, or Public Relations Office to learn more about public works.
What information will be shared?
This is an informal event with multiple stations set up to help you find the information you need and skip the information you don’t.
Event resources include, but are not limited to, information regarding user fees, credit eligibility, and exemption eligibility. Application process for public works assistance programs (also known as circuit breakers). Capital development projects scheduled for this fiscal year (October 2023 to September 2024) and more!
When will this event take place?
Please join us anytime from 12 pm to 1:00pm or 5:30pm to 6:30pm October 19, 2023.
A second event is scheduled for November at the Lewiston Orchards venue. Details will be announced in the future.
Where will this event be held?
The first event will be on October 19, 2023, in the Sturgeon Room of the Lewiston Community Center, located at 1424 Main Street. If you’re new to the community center, there’s plenty of parking in the facility’s parking lot off Lincoln and G Streets.
