NOTTINGHAM, Md. (WBFF) — Baltimore County police say two teenage boys were taken into custody and a weapon was recovered after a victim was robbed in a Walmart parking lot.
Officers responded to Walmart, 8118 Perry Hills Ct. After the victim reported the crime Thursday around 4:40 p.m.
Police said the 15- and 16-year-olds followed the victim from a nearby bus stop and robbed him in a Walmart parking lot using an airsoft gun.
The victim was not injured.

Neighbors expressed frustration with the continued problem of youth crime and the lack of accountability and consequences.
“I think young people have been taught that they have a lot of rights. They’ve been socialized to act like adults, and that’s the problem,” says shopper Joe. I did. “Sometimes adults try to get children to commit crimes because they know there will be no repercussions for them.”

“Due to your age, we may not be able to share some information with you.”
Police and prosecutors across the state are pleading with lawmakers to change the law, saying it creates obstacles to holding young people accountable.
