The report reveals the estimated top CTV apps in open programmatic ad revenue across popular CTV platforms and by region, including North America, Asia Pacific (APAC), Europe, Middle East, and Africa (EMEA), and Latin America (LATAM).
In July 2024, Pixalate’s data science team analyzed over 5,600 CTV apps (including apps deemed delisted by Pixalate) and approximately 2 billion open programmatic ad impressions to compile this series of studies.
Key Findings: Top Grossing Apps in CTV App Stores in July
- North America: Hulu is tops in estimated open programmatic ad revenue Roku, Amazon Fire TV, Apple TVand Samsung Smart TVIt generated an estimated $142 million across its four platforms.
- Latin America (LATAM): Vix takes the top spot Roku, Amazon Fire TVwhich brought in an estimated $1.7 million in advertising revenue through open programmatic advertising across Apple TV's three platforms.
- Asia Pacific (APAC): YUPP TV It led the way with Roku, Apple TV and Samsung TV, raking in an estimated $113,000 in open programmatic ad revenue across these three platforms.
- Europe, Middle East, and Africa (EMEA): GB News It came out on top with Roku and Amazon Fire TV, raking in an estimated $185,000 in open programmatic ad revenue across these two platforms.
