Parsons has been awarded a spot on a $200 million, indefinite-delivery, indefinite-term, multi-award task order from the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Baltimore District.
The five-year contract covers research, exploration, and design work in support of USACE environmental missions, including the investigation of per- and polyfluoroalkyl materials at Department of Defense facilities. This victory means a new initiative for the company.
“Parsons is a trusted solution provider for the world’s most complex environmental challenges,” said John Moretta, president of engineering systems at Parsons.
“We are committed to using our resources to support the Corps’ environmental mission to restore ecosystems, clean up contaminated sites, and provide a greener and more sustainable world for future generations.” I look forward to leveraging their expertise.”
Under this contract, Mr. Parsons is eligible to receive a mission command award to support USACE’s environmental and related responsibilities, including PFAS investigations at Department of Defense sites nationwide.
The company has supported USACE’s environmental mission for decades, and earlier this year was awarded a contract to provide technical design and engineering, permitting and delivery of a new explosive decomposition chamber facility at the Holston Army Ammunition Plant. .
