Reed City Area Chamber of Commerce will be holding a candy drive to collect treats for the upcoming Halloween in the Park at Westerberg Park in Reed City on October 28th from 12:00pm to 1:30pm. Enter for a chance to win $10 in Reed City Cash by dropping off a donation of individually wrapped candy at the Chamber office, 200 N. Chestnut St., Reed City.

Reed City High School Marching Band will host its annual Glow Show Invitational, a marching band showcase with a unique twist, on Oct. 21 at 7:30 p.m., at the Reed City High School football field. Tickets are $10 and can be purchased from participating school bands or online at reedcitybands.org/shop.
Trinity Lutheran Church and School will host its annual HarvestFest Dinner on October 21st from 4:00pm to 6:30pm at 19778 US-10 in Reed City. Dinner includes pork roast, potatoes and gravy, sauerkraut and sausage, meatballs, squash, spaetzle, apple crisp and pie. The cost is $9 for ages 11 and older. $6 for ages 5 to 10. Children ages 3 to 4 are $3. Children under 2 years old are free. You can also dine in or take out. Proceeds will support school activities.
Crossroads Recreation Connection A youth off-road bike race will be held at 9 a.m. Oct. 28 at CRC Bike Park at Westerberg Park on Elm Street in Reed City in conjunction with Forkle Point Trails of Reed City. . Reed City Chamber of Commerce The annual Halloween Spooktacular will be held on October 28th with Halloween in the Park at Westerberg Park from 12:00pm to 1:30pm. A costume parade and bed race will be held from 2 to 3 p.m. in downtown Reed City. A Halloween block party will be held on Upton Street from 4 to 7 p.m.
Ewald UAW Local 2270 will host Haunted Park at Riverside East Park on 6 Mile Road in Evert on October 27th and 28th from 7:00pm to 9:00pm. Enjoy a stroll through the park, encountering terrifying things you’ve only seen in your nightmares. Concessions, donuts, and cider are also available. Children 12 and under must be accompanied by an adult. Admission is $5. Proceeds will be donated to Breakfast with Santa in December. Evert Main Street/DDA will hold its annual Monster Mash on October 31st from 5 to 7 p.m. on the 100 and 200 blocks of North Main Street. Individuals, businesses, and organizations take to the streets to hand out candy to trick-or-treaters.
