The survey found that 62% of consumers trust e-commerce sites more than social media sites when it comes to online shopping.

The number one reason why consumers don’t trust social media purchases is all the fraud and fake reviews that happen on social media. It may take some time to address this issue, but once you do, consumers may start shopping from social media.
