LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN) — A woman is accused of stealing a costume from Walmart and then leading police on a high-speed chase.
Grand Island Police say Sapphire Utley was caught shoplifting from a store on the South Side on Halloween.
Authorities say she sped away in her white Dodge Avenger and nearly caused an accident just before 1:15 p.m.
Utley was eventually found in the resident suite and arrested.
She is charged with shoplifting, evading arrest and driving while suspended.
Police are also searching for another woman, Jordana Nelson, who is also suspected of stealing items from Walmart.
