Winston Salem, North Carolina – The App State women’s track and field team opened its indoor season Saturday at the Visit Winston Salem College Kickoff at JDL Fast Track.
2nd grade Eva Study She took first place in the women’s pole vault with a difference of 3.65 meters (11 minutes, 11.75 inches). Celia Agee The sophomore placed second with a difference of 3.50m (11′ 5.75″). caroline fawkes He took fourth place with a difference of 3.35 meters (10 inches and 11.75 inches).
Senior in women’s long jump taylor smith He took third place with a jump of 5.63 meters (18 feet, 5.75 inches). Diana Cooper She placed 6th in the women’s shot put with a toss of 13.45 meters (44 feet 1.5 inches).
Freshman on the track Jayla Adams He placed 5th in the 60m final with a time of 7.70 seconds. Adams qualified in 2nd place with a time of 7.69 and qualified 5th overall to advance to the finals.graduate student alexia mehring She placed 6th in the women’s 60m hurdles final, recording a time of 8.96 seconds. Mehring’s time placed her ninth on her list of App State’s all-time times for this event. She also placed first in her heat and fifth overall in qualifying with a time of 8.99.Women’s 200m, 2nd grade day tally He stopped the clock in 25.83 seconds, setting a new personal best and finishing in 5th place.
2nd grade Addison Olendick-Smith She also finished 6th in the women’s 600 meters with a time of 1:39.01. Olendick-Smith’s time comes within two seconds of her personal best and App State program record of 1:37.90, which she set last season.
