Mid Plains United Way
NORTH PLATTE, Nebraska – Mid Plains United Way is pleased to announce an upcoming gift wrapping event hosted by Tami Timmerman-Lashley’s Lashley Land Residential. The event will be held at the Walmart Supercenter in North Platte from Dec. 8 to Dec. 10 from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.
“We are excited to partner with Tami Timmerman Lashley’s Lashley Land Residential for this event,” said Haven Smith, Executive Director of Mid Plains United Way . “Thanks to her generosity, her entire $5 per gift goes directly to funding our partner agencies, making a positive impact in our community.”
This event is open to anyone who would like to wrap a gift for a good cause. All proceeds from the event will benefit Mid Plains United Way, which is committed to making a difference in the communities it serves. Funds raised will help Midplains United Way provide food and shelter to people facing hardship, help children and youth succeed in school, and ensure seniors are cared for and connected to their communities. The booth will be located on the north side of Walmart in front of the cash register. With a wide variety of wrapping paper and ribbons to choose from, you can enjoy a special gift.
“We encourage everyone to stop by our booth and take advantage of this service,” said Tami Timmerman Lashley. “You can make some extra purchases while you wait, and you’re also supporting a great cause.”
