If you want to try out another AI client, Microsoft has released the Copilot app for iPhone and iPad users via the App Store. The app integrates the company’s AI chat assistant technology, powered by OpenAI’s GPT-4 model. Text-to-image generation using DALL-E3 is also supported.
Microsoft provides the following comments regarding this app:
“Copilot is Microsoft’s pioneering chat assistant, powered by the latest OpenAI models, GPT-4 and DALL·E 3. These advanced AI technologies deliver fast, complex, and accurate responses. It also provides the ability to create breathtaking visuals from simple text without any description.
Chat and create, all in one place for free. ”
The release of the Microsoft Copilot app comes after OpenAI released its own ChatGPT app for iPhone in May. Microsoft points out that its Copilot app provides users with an alternative way to access ChatGPT technology, separate from the Bing integration.
This app has versions for iPhone and iPad and is available for free on the App Store. The iPad version of Microsoft Copilot can also be installed on Apple Silicon-based Macs via the Mac App Store.
