Foley, Alabama – App State’s men’s cross country team won the title Saturday at the 2023 Sun Belt Championship Meet in Foley, Alabama, marking its first win since 2019.
“Coach Brad Herbster and his players had a plan from day one and stuck to it, and now we’re seeing the results,” said Damion McLean, App State director of track and cross country. .
App State scored 28 total team points, including four of the top six and five of the top 13, 19 team points ahead of second-place Arkansas State.
