The whole family had fun at Shasta Elementary School’s Harvest Festival last Friday.
That’s according to Jennifer Beggs, who hosted the annual event, which includes a costume contest, food trucks, games, opportunity raffles and a pumpkin patch.
She is a resource specialist teacher on the Manteca Unified campus. For the past five years, Beggs has helped keep this pre-Halloween festivities at the school going.
“Harvest festivals have been held at Shasta schools for a long time,” she said.
Various games and booths were again run by teachers and staff.
The Shasta Pumpkin Patch was also part of the event and began the day before.
“A huge thank you to Fonseca Farms for donating the pumpkins,” the Shasta Hornets said on social media.
