Conversation with Jake Shane
See TikTok sensation Jake Shane (known online as @octopusslover8) in person at the Shine Student Center’s Goldstein Auditorium. Shane, known online for his Taylor Swift fandom and historical parody videos, is scheduled to speak to students on Friday. Doors open at 7:15 p.m. and this event is free to all SUNY ESF and Syracuse University students.
Redefining comfort pop-up shop
Prepare for the cold in cozy luxury loungewear at the Grater Things pop-up on Friday at Blackstone Launchpad in Byrd Library. 40% of the proceeds will be donated to charity, 20% of which will go to Ottoson and the remaining 20% to Camp Kesem.
University Union Cinema Screening
Catch Mission: Impossible – Dead Reckoning Part 1 on Friday and Saturday at HBC Gifford Auditorium. With winter weather, it’s the perfect time to watch movies in comfort. The University Union will hold free screenings at 8 p.m. both days.
CNY Regional Farmers Market
Shop at more than 300 vendors selling produce, meat, fish, baked goods, specialty beverages and more at the Central New York Farmers Market on Saturday. Buses depart from College Place at 8:30 a.m. and run in a loop until 1:30 p.m. Transportation is free for Syracuse University and SUNY ESF students.
student union grocery run
Shop for groceries and other essentials at Walmart with free transportation from the Student Association. The trolley will run continuously from 11am to 5pm on December 3rd. The first vehicle leaves College Place at 11am, and he picks up students every 30 minutes after an hour, depending on traffic conditions. Trolley service is free to all students.
