The last time I looked at our Constitution, it said “We the People” were still in charge.
We know and admit that as a society, our government has been extremely negligent in drawing fire over who is in charge. Until the law is changed, courts will still maintain that we are citizens and therefore we still have the right to free speech.
Repeated attempts by school boards to suppress free speech have provoked much thought.Perhaps if our schools had not yet taught and expanded on the 3Rs. LGBTQ These school board meetings will not face these issues. All of these expanded issues seem to extend far beyond the teaching of reading, writing, and arithmetic.

It appears that our education system is in need of serious review and change. So the Maine School Management Association is barking up the wrong tree.
