It’s Halloween
Tuesday is Halloween, so be careful on the streets, whether you’re driving, walking, trick-or-treating, or helping kids who are being pranked.

christmas a cappella
Some people think it’s time to start listening to Christmas music as soon as the Halloween decorations are put away. The Eccles Theater, 131 S. Main in Salt Lake City, kicks off its holiday music schedule Thursday with a performance by her nine-piece a cappella group, Straight No Chaser. The group is known for their tight harmonies and humorous arrangements of holiday songs (such as their rendition of “Dreidel Song” and “The Twelve Days of Christmas”, which samples Toto’s “Africa”). The show begins at 7:30 p.m. Tickets can be purchased at ArtTix.org.
