Casey DeSantis is still trying to convince everyone that being called “Walmart Melania” isn’t an insult.
Girl, please rest!
Her latest attempt to save face came in an interview with former NRA spokesperson Dana Roesch. Loesch currently hosts a show on an obscure network called First TV, which also features prominent right-wingers Bill O’Reilly and Sean Spicer.
Casey said she loves the nickname because it’s an honor to be included in the same league as “Melania Trump.”
She also shops at Walmart. What a coincidence!
“They also call me Walmart Melania, which by the way, is in the same sentence as Melania, so I think this is a big win,” she said.
Casey made unseemly comparisons with former FLOTUS. washington post A full-length story that outlines her unique relationship with Ron.
Casey, a former television news anchor, is obsessed with appearance. She reportedly has complete control over her husband’s wardrobe, right down to his earphones.
She is said to have encouraged Ron to wear cowboy boots and heels.
But back to Melania’s fabricated accusations.
When Ron “Don’t Say Gay” DeSantis was first elected governor of Florida, Casey reportedly called for full treatment for Melania.
“As she prepared for her new role, modeling after the president’s wife, she asked aides what Melania Trump would do, what she would wear, and her favorite stores and designers,” the newspaper wrote. ing. WapoRuby Kramer.
From that moment on, Casey has dedicated herself to this routine, right down to the bitter indifference to the pain and suffering inflicted on others, especially LGBTQ+ people, by her husband.

When Ron began his futile presidential campaign, politicians wondered if Casey might be his secret weapon. Telegenic and personable, she’s the perfect contrast to Ron’s dour demeanor…at least on paper.
But in reality, her message is just as bad. Every time she tries to portray her homophobic husband as a “normal family man” it blows up in her face.
Take, for example, her interview on Fox News in August. Casey strangely continued to refer to the couple’s children as “hers” and portrayed Ron as some kind of babysitter.
I didn’t know that robots could give birth to children.

At an event the following week, Casey told a bizarre story about young children locking themselves in bathrooms and drawing on hotel walls before the first Republican debate.
In the aforementioned Fox interview, Casey also couldn’t help but attack LGBTQ+ people, which is no surprise. Earlier this summer, she cut her own vicious homophobic ad and shared a video of Ron kicking an LGBTQ+ activist out of one of his (sparsely attended) events.
Neither stunt resulted in Ron receiving more support.
The DeSantis are not the first political outliers to try to portray themselves as “ordinary people.” But they may be the worst at it.
Casey’s fake embrace of “Melania Walmart” fits exactly into that pattern.
She described her nickname as “Victory” during a bus tour in Iowa and bragged about her title in a podcast interview.
“They call me ‘Walmart Melania.’
Oh yeah, I hate the media. It will win people’s hearts!
Doesn’t Casey at least seem a little more comfortable holding something cold than her husband?
we know her for sure absolutely Despite her claims, she doesn’t seem comfortable inside Walmart.
