How to use and trust your intuition.

Once you learn to recognize your intuition, the heartbeat in your stomach, the soft, loving voice in your head, or the strong emotions you get, you can use it like a trusted guide. Honoring that inner voice and feeling is one of the most powerful steps we can take in our lives.
There’s a reason it’s called “intuition.” Some people actually feel a pounding or tingling sensation in their stomach when something is not right or very right. However, some people have inner feelings that they just can’t get rid of. Additionally, some people may hear words or phrases gently repeated in their head and follow along. Although researchers have proposed information processing theories related to intuition, such as Cognitive Experiential Self Theory (CEST), intuition remains largely a mystery.
You may want to learn to trust your intuition, whatever form it takes. It can protect us from harm and help us live our lives. I can think of many anecdotes of people deciding not to get in the car at the last minute only to find out later that their decision may have saved their lives. Or maybe you’re feeling nagged during an important job interview and bring up a topic that’s sure to land you the job that will advance your career. People in certain professions, such as nurses, find that intuition helps them provide enriching care to their patients.
So how do you know if it’s your inner voice or just your conscious mind getting in the way? This can be difficult to learn, but often times we hear ourselves It takes practice to tune in. Some researchers believe that developing intuition may be a long process, but it may not take as long as you think.
Strengthen and grow your intuition
Don’t despair if you don’t think you’re aware of your intuitive messages. There may be a way to increase your intuition. For example, intuition often becomes stronger after exercise or meditation. Also, if you want to dig a little deeper into the path of intuition, you might want to start an intuition journal. This is a way to track when our intuition kicks in and in what form those messages arrive. This will help you recognize intuitive nudges and distinguish them from when your pesky conscious mind is interfering. This may also help us listen and follow our intuitive nudges in the future.
Reducing stress may give you more intuition. You may find that there are lifestyle factors that help you receive intuitive guidance, such as reducing stress. In fact, stress in Western culture might be considered a pandemic. Reducing stress and improving your mood and mental health may improve your intuition. Research shows that anxiety and depression impair intuitive abilities. Therefore, reducing stress and anxiety may help you access your intuition. For example, meditation is considered a stress-reducing technique, and at least one study found that meditation can increase intuition.
Additionally, reduce stress, such as yoga, sound healing (sound baths), being in nature, and other meditation practices that may help open a porthole to your intuitive self that is waiting to emerge. There are many ways. At this time, it is unclear why lifestyle would affect my assistance in this process. However, research has demonstrated that the body (particularly the heart and brain) appears to be involved in receiving and processing important intuitive information.
Intuitive messages vs. mental disorders
Intuition helps protect us from harm and guides us to take positive steps in life. However, it’s important to distinguish between intuitive messages and possible signs of a psychological disorder, such as when you hear voices telling you to harm yourself, others, or animals. In this situation, the individual should immediately seek psychological counseling. However, intuitive messages are generally positive messages rather than messages of a destructive nature. True intuition involves an individual learning to tune into the messages of their inner self that are designed to help or guide them in some way.
Well then, here you go. Listen to your loving inner voice designed to help you on your life path. My intuition is that I believe it will make a positive difference for you.
