This free program aims to “get preschoolers interested in science and the world around them.” Today’s program is about “Dumbo Taco”. The name “Dumbo” refers to the deep-sea umbrella-shaped octopus known for its fins that resemble the ears of Disney’s famous elephant Dumbo. This is a free program open to preschoolers accompanied by an adult. For more information, call 262-653-4140.
of Kenosha Public Museum is also sponsored “Planet or plastic?” The exhibit “puts a spotlight on the vulnerability of the natural environment due to the global plastic waste crisis.” The show continues until January 14th. of tremper high school band will hold its fall concert at the Tremper High School Auditorium, 8560 26th Ave., starting at 7 p.m. It will feature performances by concert bands, symphonic bands, symphonic winds, and wind ensembles. Tickets are $4 for adults, $3 for students and seniors, and $8 for family passes and can be purchased at the door.

Departure progress! Electric streetcar in downtown Kenosha is open seven days a week and offers stunning lakeside views. The tram runs from 11:05 AM to 6:35 PM Monday through Friday, and from 10:35 AM to 6:15 PM on Saturday and Sunday. Fares are $1 for ages 13 and older and 50 cents for children 5 to 12 (free for children 4 and under). A day pass costs $3.50.
