Joint Base San Antonio, Texas —
Joint Base San Antonio released a new smartphone app on Dec. 1 designed to provide quick access to installation information and resources.
The free app, named “JBSA Connect,” is now available for download from the Apple App Store and Google Play Store. This consolidates basic details about his three main locations in JBSA: JBSA-Fort Sam Houston, JBSA-Lackland, and JBSA-Randolph.
Free app features include gate and construction updates, base status alerts. Users can also submit feedback and requests within the app.
The native mobile app also displays business hours, phone numbers, and local amenities for services and facilities across JBSA. Interactive maps and directions will help you navigate around the vast joint base.
“JBSA Connect improves communication and efficiency across the installation,” said Brigadier General Russell D. Driggers, 502nd Air Base Wing and JBSA commander. I recommend that.”
The app’s release follows a month-long beta testing period in November. He had over 50 people participate in the beta test, allowing developers to identify and resolve issues before the official release.
JBSA Connect can be downloaded from the Apple App Store and Google Play Store. This is the latest effort to modernize information sharing and services at JBSA, one of the U.S. military’s largest joint bases.
