A one-month period during which Idaho's rural public school districts and charter schools can apply for state grants to support arts programs in their schools began Friday, Aug. 30, and will run through Sept. 30, 2024.
Applicants may apply for up to $3,500 in funding for the purchase of curriculum materials, equipment and supplies to support arts education programs. School districts and charter schools may:
To qualify for the grant, you must comply with Idaho Statute 33-319.
Each eligible rural school district or charter school may submit one application, but applications must be submitted by the district or charter school's leadership; applications submitted by individual teachers without the leadership's approval are not eligible.
Application Window Ends September 30, 2024 at 11:59 PM Mountain Standard Time.
Applications will be reviewed for eligibility by the State Board of Education Office and approved in October.
Funding will be available to applicants beginning Nov. 1, 2024, and will be available through June 30, 2025, when the current state fiscal year ends.
