During “Home for the Holidays,” you can walk through the grounds taking in the family’s history and see elegant holiday lighting. You can also buy hot chocolate on the way home.
Indie Arts and Crafts Fest
- Saturday 11am to 7pm

- This Saturday is Small Business Saturday. One of his ways to shop local is to support crafters at the Indie Arts & Crafts Fest in Midtown Detroit. The Holiday Market is located across the street from Motor City Brewing Works. The juried craft show will feature the work of 25 local crafters, handcrafted beers and baked goods.

Wild Lights at the Detroit Zoo begins this weekend and runs through January 7th. While you sip your hot cocoa, you can tour around 500 festive exhibits, sculptures, and even a walk-through tunnel.
Winter Wonder Lights and Meadow Brook Holiday Walk

- Meadow Brook Hall, 350 Estate Drive, Rochester
- If you’re looking for dazzling holiday lights, look no further than Meadow Brook Hall and its displays. You can experience a holiday walk during the day and admire the winter wonder lights at night. The National Historic Landmark will be lit up starting this weekend and running through the end of December.
