Non-governmental organization ECOWEB360 said joint efforts by stakeholders are needed to ensure the environment is maintained and managed for human survival.

She said, “The impacts of climate change extend to health, habitats, and economies. This unwelcome cascade of impacts includes intensified disease outbreaks, intensified rainfall, flash flooding, soil degradation, and loss of life and property.” It manifests itself as loss and disruption of livelihoods leading to insecurity.
