Santa Claus is coming to town, especially to Greenwood Park Mall.
Simon Malls announced in a news release that the mall will officially open the Santa Photo Experience on Friday. Opening hours are 11am to 7pm Monday to Saturday and 12am to 6pm on Sundays until Christmas Eve.

The mall also hosts other events with Santa in December.
- A Compassionate Santa: Families with children with special needs can enjoy a calming holiday environment from 9 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. on Dec. 3.
- Pet Photos: Bring your pet for a photo with Santa on Dec. 10 from 6:30 to 7:30 p.m.
- Breakfast with Santa: Families can eat with Santa from 8:30 to 10:30 a.m. on Dec. 16 before telling Santa what’s at the top of their wish list. I can. Children can also participate in holiday-themed crafts. Breakfast is served at Starbucks and Chick-fil-A.
- WRTV Toy Drive: Greenwood Park Mall and participating Indianapolis Simon Center will host a special collection day event featuring WRTV personalities on December 9th from 12:00pm to 4:00pm. Shoppers are encouraged to bring a new, unwrapped toy or make a monetary donation. A collection box will be located outside near Entrance 3 near the fountain.
- Creative Grounds Fine Arts Academy: The local arts academy will be participating in the Elf Musical Flash Mob on Dec. 16 starting at approximately 12 p.m.
Other festive events at Greenwood Park Mall include gift-wrapping stations provided by local charities every Saturday after Black Friday until Christmas. The station will be located near the play area, according to a news release.
Additionally, mall representatives say shoppers who head out bright and early on Black Friday will be treated to festivities throughout the day.
The mall is welcoming additional limited-time shopping options during the holiday season, according to a news release. Stores include Christmas Treasures, next door to Zales Jewelers. Gemma Natural Stone, next to Tradehome Shoes. Crow Crazy Arcade, next to Macy’s. And Hickory Farms next door to Journey.
