You’ll soon be able to uninstall Android apps remotely using other devices connected to your Google Account.
According to 9to5Google, this new feature will be introduced in the December 2023 update of the Google Play Store.Once you have the update, go to Manage apps and devices Tap management tab. There, tap the checkbox next to the app you want to remove. Confirm again in the pop-up and the app will be uninstalled the next time your secondary device is powered on and online.
Google’s changelog lists Auto, PC, Phone, TV, and Wear as supported platforms. Therefore, this feature seems ideal for managing devices that require complex app management. After all, it’s easy to uninstall an app from your phone at any time, but it takes a little more time to do it on your TV or smartwatch.
According to TheSpAndroid, who posted a screenshot of the feature, you can sort apps on different devices by name or size. This makes it easy to find specific apps or delete large apps and games to free up space.
