Google aims to “democratize artificial intelligence” with products that allow non-experts to create AI-powered applications.
Vertex AI leverages Google’s (GOOG) datasets and online networks to create applications tailored to the specific needs of your business. According to Google’s senior director of products, the product doesn’t need to be an expert to use it. Yariv Adan.
“What we do at Google is to deliver all the technologies and products we have based on a holistic approach. We recently introduced Vertex AI, which is not just for AI practitioners. We provide an end-to-end solution that caters to developers and business users as well,” Adan told Yahoo Finance.

Google’s Vertex AI is a machine learning platform on Google Cloud that enables enterprises to build, experiment, and deploy their own AI-powered applications.

Generative AI as a modern technological transformation
Adan described generative AI as a new iteration of technological transformation that will change business and consumer behavior.
“This is the third biggest transformation of our time. We had the web, we had smartphones, and now we have generative artificial intelligence,” he said.

“We believe AI will be similar to previous transformations, but much more fundamental than that,” the Google director added.
Next, we discussed how Google’s AI software is being used to improve efficiency in large call centers around the world.
“We support some of the largest and most complex call centers in the world, including very large telecommunications companies like Verizon (VZ) and AT&T (T) in the U.S., banks, and Best Buy. (BBY), Home Depot (HD) and Walmart (WMT),” he said.

Outlining Google’s approach to AI, Adan said: “We need to be bold in how we deliver the benefits of new technologies to consumers and businesses, but we also need to do so responsibly. We will continue to update it.”
