Greening of the Fountains Friday, March 8 – 12:00 PM Fountains at Forsyth Park A family-friendly ceremony to celebrate the greening of the city’s fountain waters Below: Greening of the Fountains in 2023 Celtic Cross Mass and Parade to Emmett Park Sunday, March 10 Cathedral of St. John the Baptist A Mass honoring Irish immigrants who settled in the United States, especially Savannah. Next was the parade. Sergeant William Jasper Greene Ceremony Friday, March 15th – 4:00pm Johnson Square and Madison Square Formal Ceremony Honoring Sergeant William Jasper Greene and all military personnel, whether or not of Irish descent. The parade begins in Johnson Square. The ceremony will be held in Madison Square. Mass at the Cathedral of St. John the Baptist Saturday, March 16 – 8 a.m. Cathedral of St. John the Baptist St. Patrick’s Day Parade Saturday, March 16 – 10:15 a.m. The parade will be held at Abercorn and It starts at the intersection of Gwinnett and ends at the Bull and Liberty judging stands. A fun, family-friendly ceremony to celebrate the greening of the city’s fountain waters

Sunday, March 10th
Cathedral of St. John the Baptist
