Transportation officials said in a news release Monday that both Caltrans El Centro Maintenance Yard, 1102 Montenegro Way and Caltrans Brawley Maintenance Yard, 200 South Palm Avenue, will open at 8 a.m. Saturday. to noon, or until capacity is reached.

Caltrans said motorists should properly secure all luggage and cover it with a tarp before traveling. Luggage that is not tied down, enclosed, secured with a tarp or other means may not be accepted.
