LAS VEGAS (KSNV) — The Animal Foundation wants to help current and future pet families prepare for the holiday season with two upcoming events.
First, the animal shelter has partnered with Gaudin Motor Company to waive adoption fees for all pets.
The event will be held on Saturday, November 11th from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. at the shelter located at 655 N Mojave Road.
Free adoption includes spay/neuter, microchip, and up-to-date vaccines for the appropriate animal. A $10 license fee may apply.
Foster parents will be recruited on a first-come, first-served basis starting at 11am, so if you would like to foster, please arrive early.
The shelter is also reminding pet families not to bring their current pets to the shelter during the event.

Next week, the Animal Foundation will host a free pet microchipping event on Saturday, November 18th at Charlie’s Decatur North Parking Lot in Arizona.
Pet parents can stop by from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., and the first two pets will receive 500 free microchips. Additional microchips are available to him for a $10 donation.
Microchips are available on a first-come, first-served basis while supplies last.
While attending this event, families can enjoy food from local vendors, live entertainment, a blanket drive supporting pets in The Animal Foundation’s shelters, and even pet adoptions from The Animal Foundation .
