November 30, 2023 – PSP is currently investigating the theft of two items from buses owned by a Waynesboro church and school. On Oct. 25, around 6 p.m., officers were dispatched to a case of theft from a school bus.
When police arrived, they discovered that someone had stolen a red crowbar and fire extinguisher from the bus. At the time of publication, PSP says it is still investigating. The total price for both items is $75.
Franklin County PSP police are investigating a theft at a warehouse in Fannett Township. Police responded to a storage unit at 17078 Pass Valley Road in Fannett Township on Nov. 26 around 2:30 p.m.
Police said unknown perpetrators entered the unit and took a jet washer, a jet dryer, a 55-inch Panasonic television and an ivory chair with an ottoman.

A 34-year-old Frederick, Maryland, man is facing a felony shoplifting charge after he allegedly stole $1,200 worth of trading cards from a Chambersburg Walmart.
Police have not released the man’s name, but say he was arrested at a Walmart on Lincoln Way East in Chambersburg just before 1:30 p.m. on Oct. 29.
The man is accused of stealing multiple packs containing MLB cards, NBA cards, Pokemon cards and other merchandise from the store. The total amount stolen was $1,220.07.
A Chambersburg man is facing charges of littering after he allegedly left numerous household items at someone else’s home for disposal.
The unnamed man allegedly discarded numerous windows and their blinds on the property of a 64-year-old Chambersburg man on Boyer Mill Road in Hamilton Township. Both incidents occurred around 4:45 p.m. on November 28, and police announced that a young man was arrested on suspicion of scattering trash.
