Cassotto will host special guest, wine importer Kelsey Laderiere, who will be serving French wines along with light fare. The menu includes:
- Ensalada camarone, cold shrimp salad, avocado, piquillo peppers, tomatoes, olive oil, lime
- Flores '23, Picpoul, Languedoc, France
- Pan con tomate, House Crystal Bread, Tomato, Garlic, Olive Oil
- Nicolas Millet '2, Loire, France, Pinot Noir Rosé
- Dateless, bacon wrapped date skewers (3 dates), blue cheese, almonds, spiced honey
- Domaine Guegan “Chablis” '23, Chardonnay, Burgundy, France
- Pintxos mornos, Moroccan lamb skewers, yogurt, diced cucumber, fresh herbs
- Chateau Gigonnin 'Clos du Roi' '16, Grenache/Syrah/Mourvedre, Chateauneuf-du-Pape, Rhone, France
Tickets cost $27 for the pintxos and $65 for the wine pairing and can be purchased online through Tock.

Rutherford Ranch Winery will be serving a five-course menu including:
- Chestnut carrot tartare, smoked egg yolk mayonnaise, sourdough shatter, spices, cornichon, herbs and Montagio Brioche
- Rutherford Ranch Sauvignon Blaine
- Roasted black cod seasoned with salt and cider, melted scallions, sour apple butter, Chardonnay emulsion, crispy scallion leaves, green apple
- Rutherford Ranch Chardonnay
- Tourtiere, Duroc pork shoulder, 70% butter whipped potatoes, Frog Bench pepper relish, Cabernet, peppercorn sauce, purslane
- Rutherford Ranch Cabernet Sauvignon
- Wagyu beef cheek with melon, watermelon tart, fermented kajari melon, fried chickpeas, yogurt, basmati
- Last bite, fig gelato, double candied pecan
Tickets cost $130, or $110 for dine-only, and reservations can be made online through OpenTable.

Daniel Moreland (aka Cactus Eater) will be returning to Scion Cider next month. Moreland previously appeared in March preparing a Mexican-inspired dinner with a “Smoke” concept (pictured above). This time the meal is called “Sour.” The five-course meal will be accompanied by a selection of fine ciders. Cost is $150, or $120 for food only. Tickets can be purchased online here.

This Sugar House spot will return with afternoon wine parties in 2024, featuring more than 40 varieties of natural and organic wines, music, and food. Tickets range from $40-60 and can be purchased online here.
The road home

As the month ends, The Road Home will host the fundraiser, a family-friendly event that will feature refreshments from Gourmandise, Harmons, Intermountain Healthcare, LUX Events, Nomad Eatery, Ruby Snap, Salt Lake Culinary Education and Vosen's Bakery, as well as a variety of activities.
